For Faculty> For Your Syllabus
Please include information about the University Writing Center on your class syllabus to encourage practices of pre-writing, revision, and careful editing by your students. Often students who use the Writing Center begin assignments earlier, which can help prevent last-minute problems with clarifying assignments, finishing research, and meeting MLA and APA style requirements.
Note: Although we encourage professors to suggest that students use the Writing Center as a resource, we ask that faculty do not require students to come as part of a class's requirements.
When printing information about the Writing Center, please be sure to always provide current contact information and hours.
