Off-Campus Online Services

The University Writing Center (UWC) offers special online consulting services for off-campus students in the ASU Distance Education program utilizing a tool called Elluminate. Currently, the pilot of this program is offered at the Caldwell Community College Campus. If you are from another off-campus cohort, please contact the Writing Center about participating in this pilot.

To utilize this service, you will need:

• access to a computer with a USB port and high-speed internet (wireless acceptable, dialup not acceptable)
  
  
• a full headset with microphone (for CCCTI cohorts, these are available for checkout from the computer lab in 306)
  
  
• your paper, notes, or other writing you wish to work on in some type of electronic form such as a Word or TXT document
  
  
• to set up an appointment at least 24 hours in advance to the time you wish to have your consultation (for Monday appointments, please call by Thursday at 5pm). PLEASE BE SURE to indicate you want an "ONLINE" consultation.
